I have not really played around much with videos yet on this laptop, today I tried to setup XBMC on my laptop to watch my media on my home cinema which is connected to a samsung es7000 via a yamaha AV Receiver. When i play an uncompressed rip of bluray, the picture quality is horrible. I am not too savvy with laptops like this, and dont know how to recitify this. Does anyne know why this might be? I will get a screen sho on later if that helps too. Thanks

Screen shot might help, yes. :) Are your video drivers up to date? I'm not very familiar with XBMC; you might have downloaded a beta release though. If that's the case, try the newest stable release of XBMC. Or if you have the stable release, you can try a beta version.
