Hey guys, just picked up my GT70 the other day, and so far I've been enjoying it (though I'm still getting used to the cooling compared to my old Asus G73).

My problem is this, on previous systems that I've had Nvidia cards in, the control panel has been pretty full featured, whereas the one on my GT70 is very limited. I often run an HDMI cable to my TV to watch video on a second screen without needing to stream it to some other device. On my G73, this was a non-issue, everything worked fine.

Tonight, however, I decided to give it a go on my GT70, and immediately noticed an issue that I had on an old Alienware laptop (with an Nvidia card). The desktop size is extending past the visible area on my TV, meaning that the edges are all cut off and not visible. For example, if I were to make my TV the primary display, I wouldn't be able to see the task bar. The reason I mentioned previous systems with Nvidia cards is that the control panel typically had options where I could resize the desktop so that I could fit it properly. I can't do this on my GT70 right now, as it seems like the Nvidia Control Panel is severely limited.

I've tooled around in both the Intel and Nvidia control panels, and neither seem to have options to resize.

Before anyone asks, my TV is 1080p, and I'd like to reiterate that my G73 did not have these issues. I'd really rather not have to switch back to using that for what I want to do, it kind of defeats the purpose (and I'm probably going to gift my G73 to someone in my family).

    Help?
