This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I just want to know .... if I buy a VGA cable will I be able to use the VGA port on my laptop (GT735) as an input (I want to get rid of my desktop monitor)

    so my laptop will be my monitor???

    No, that VGA port is a connector on your graphics card, not on your monitor, if you know what I mean. You'de just be plugging a video card into another video card.
