    Used Driver Cleaner, now wont detect 9800m gs ?

    So, I thought I would use driver cleaner, and install 186.03 drivers, and now all it detects is "Standard VGA Adapter"

    How do I install the drivers???

    You probably need to get modified INF file along with the Nvidia driver to detect the card go to laptopvideo2go and download the driver and the INF file and replace the INF with the modified one.

    Well I tried downloading a modded info, I installed it, and installed the latest nvidia drivers.... and it was still showing "standard vga adapter". I then went to msiglobal and downloaded their vga drivers... that worked, it now shows 9800m gs... performance was horrible, so then I tried updating the drivers and it wont update.... any ideas??

    Its all to do with the inf, i'll boot up my old sony and guide you through quick installation in a few, (my sony isnt compatible with any drivers other then 2004 ones lol so it will be a good example :D )
