Is upgrading the Q9000 to a qx a simple swap over? whats the highest cpu that the bios supports, ie qx9300, 9500?

Hey hel, and welcome to the forum,

Yep, it should be as easy as taking the cpu/nb heatsink off, unlocking the CPU hold, popping it out and replacing it,

All the quad processors from q9000 to qx9300 should work, but there are also certain things to look out for (Say like es procs and that etc etc.)
