My GS73VR 6RF comes with a USB 2.0 card reader and Killer E2400 Ethernet. I bought a SD/Ethernet board from 7th and 8th gen GS63/73VR which has PCIe card reader and Killer E2500 on ebay. After installing the old ribbon cable and the new board, the laptop refused to boot into BIOS. Switching back to the old board then everything is fine. I'm guessing it's either broken board, incompatible motherboard, or incompatible ribbon cable. Anyone tried the same upgrade? Please help. Thanks.
