So, pretty new here and I have a quick question...

    Would a:

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M GDDR5 MXM 3.0 Graphics Card N13E-GS1-LP-A1 1.5GB (GDDR5)

Be compatible with the GTX 670M?

I would really like to start playing with some great settings instead of keeping them pretty medium/low.

    Thank you :D

Yes it will works its even the same like gtx570m but with higher clocks and different vbios, i think better for you to buy GTX 675m or AMD HD7970m.

I ended up purchasing the 670m since it was in my budget range especially for a college student :D

Would you be able to make some kind of quick guide on the steps how to install it?

I mean I've read around a couple thread about flashing bios but I wouldn't know how to do it. I'm sure its not too difficult.

Well, I got the card today, installed it, drivers no problem. Haven't decided to do bios yet since I wanted to see how it would do without them.

So far, disappointed, I'm not sure whats wrong.

About 5 minutes into the game and my fps drops to around 10. I tab out to check the temps and its at a decent 68c.

Happened with both Far Cry 3 and Black Ops 2.

You will also need to update BIOS if you want to use 180W adapter, the original BIOS does not support 180W AC.

It would be more dependent on the EC which you could grab from the 580M version if you had issues.

    Well everything worked out :D

But now I have another problem..

The charging port doesn't work. Tried different chargers but all have to be turned, moved, just to get it to charge. What do I do?

This place called ClickAway is charging $189 to fix.
