For those who have been waiting for the GT780 / GT780R in the UK, I can confirm it will not be launched. The new GT780DX Series will be released in the coming months, which is very similar although has superior graphics. This will be the model that will be the first of the series to launch in the UK.

In the mean time both the GX660R and GT680 are still current and available to purchase in the UK.

I hope this helps clear up if anyone wondering why they can only find it in the US.

If you are from MSI, get those lazy technician of yours in Asia to figure out how to get Optimus on the GT780DXR. If they don`t know how, hire a spy and infiltrate the Alienware headquarters and steal the papers describing the M15/M17/M18x. They have Optimus with 460M, 560M and 580M

    Kthx by

In coming months you mean Q3 or Q4? And I agree with the poster above, no Optimus, no competitiveness, no buy.

*Yawn* too late and expensive for me. What do you think the type of consumers who buy these machines are like? Do you think they will wait around for months?

Exactly this, MSI offer great price performance with thier gaming series notebooks. With fewer local notebook integrators now in the UK these are a great alternative.

Meaker what makes you think they are too expensive for you? The skus and prices have not been announced yet.

Compared to the cost of importing an MSI barebone from the us makes the retail editions in the uk silly.
