    USB ports dead on GX740

    The two on the left and one on the right are dead. They provide power for charging phones, but not for any sort of data.

    The one USB port that's good is the one that is also an ESATA port. That one works fine for USB and ESATA.

    Anything I should try before filing for RMA?

    thanks for the suggestion. I tried it but it still doesn't work :(

    dang, I really don't want to spend a month with an inferior substitute laptop...
