    UEFI (or UEFI with CSM) = no boot devices on GT72 !

    Hi,

    this laptop is driving me crasy. I will go BGA and won't buy MSI anymore !
    I'm currently running WIN 10 Pro (my licence) on my damn GT72 in legacy boot mode since nothing else ever worked.
    I will be using 1060 GTX card soon so I wanted to switch my machine to UEFI mode.

    So here are the pictures:

    So the solution is the following : convert your partitions to GPT and create an EFI boot partition with a windows installation media.
    It's normal not to see anything in menus since they are not proper UEFI medias.

    I replied to you about this in your 1060 thread. With a link to a YouTube video on how to convert from mbr to gpt. However will still advise backup important files and do a clean install.
