The DVD is the first in the BIOS boot device list.
The dvd has a bootable ISO image yet when booting, it skips past it.

The image was made the very DVD drive installed in the GT80 SLI Titan yet it cannot boot off the drive.

I turned off secure boot. What else can do I do?

I tried the Legacy mode instead of UEFI to no avail. Then nothing boots at all.

How did you burn the ISO?
Can you see anything on the disc?
Did you try pressing F11 for the boot menu?

When I hit F11 during the boot process, I do not see the DVD listed at all as one of the options.
    Just the SSDs appear.

Yet, in BIOS, it is the first in the boot sequence.

    You haven't answered this question.
Can you take a screenshot of the content of your disc? Open Windows Explorer -> Click on ODD, and list the files.

Here are the contents of the DVD/Bluray disk. One ISO image. If I do a "Properties" on it, it shows as a .iso

I used the Windows 10 drag and drop method and then right click, burn this CD.

Do you think an aftermarket program would work better?

Drag and drop only copies the file to the disc. You need a program that will burn the ISO properly. ImgBurn will get the job done. It's old but free.

I didn't just drag and drop. I right clicked on DVD on the left and said "Burn". So I don't know where it went wrong. It does list the contents of the CD as having that file. Weird. There is a malfunction somewhere.

I've had ImgBrun once upon a time, some 10 years ago, I will try it again.

I installed ImgBurn and burned the image. I got much farther this time.
The machine actually does boot off the Bluray, kicks off the install script but is then having an issue installing CentOS, I ran into the infamous error message about /dev/root. It appears to be a CentOS issue at this point.

Note: The Win10 utility to burn dvd is malfunctioning. At least in my case with bluray disk. I went through all the steps and it did not create a good image. ImgBurn is light years ahead.

Cant you just use virtualbox in windows to run your linux distribution? Or you just want to run linux os on that laptop and nothing else, because I don't really recommend that due to lack of drivers and utility software on this laptop with linux based systems.

I installed Linux on one of my SSDs but now need to configure a way to boot into it.

My primary boot SSD has Windows on it so does the mirror. I like multiboot configurations.
