It looks fantastic, along with great components inside. There will be people that will not like this kind of style (especially colored WASD buttons), but combination of red and black style looks great.
The price is OK, so I suppose this model will be great option for gaming at reasonable price, especially here in Europe where MSI is traditionally very popular (as well as Toshiba, Acer and Samsung, differently from USA). -
It's also available on Amazon.com for the same price - although it's temporarily out of stock. I'll post the link anyway in case some people would prefer to buy from Amazon instead of eBay:

Haha, the turbo button on this laptop looks pretty cool - I like the black & red colours on the laptop. Specs are great too.
I really want to buy this laptop. Wonder how long it will be before the laptop works its way into other shops. $1,400 is around £750, right? It's like £100 out of my price range. D: -
Man, finally. I've been waiting on this one for quite a while. Guess I'll return this Gateway once it arrives on Friday.
-
I've been using my 1651 barebones now for almost two weeks. It is pretty nice so far. Well, mine doesn't have the brushed aluminum but it also is a bit more tasteful in the aesthetics department than the gx620.

You can also get MSI GX620 for $1299 at mwave:

They have it in stock and if you want one with the blue ray drive it costs $1549 -
wicked amazing!! now to wait until reputable Canadian dealers have a WSXGA+ screen in and I'm game.
-
GX620 would be hot with white or silver trim instead of red... o well
-
Does anyone know if this will be made available to the UK?
Amazon only ships to the US.. The person on eBay is charging £115 postage. x_x
I hope it's made available soon. D: -
It would be great if this model will be available under 1500$.
-
A site here in Belgium claims it to be available on the 19th of september... fingers crossed.
I still think the Acer Aspire 6935 is the better bang for my bucks but I like the looks of this GX620 more...
So how's this 1680*1050 resolution for games... that's really really huge. I saw my 19" desktop monitor with 1280*1024 choke really quickly on new games and I would like to keep my laptop for some time so... how are things?
Thanks
EDIT: My bet, it's the gx720... but you still can answer my question right? -
A general rule of the thumb when looking at UK and US pricing. The UK Price will always be more than the US pricing. E.g. US pricing is $1500 therefore UK pricing will be around £900-1200.
Also the older model, the GX600 is still costing around £750 so it won't be likely the price will be set at this point. -
any ever tried using sites like
www . borderhq . com ??
for deliveries from USA ?
The new MSI GX620 is now available
