Yes seems seriously noob-ish , sorry.
But really what should come first? Does it matter?
Last time I flashed my bios for my msi i thought one of the options was to overwrite ec anyway, ie it was included in the rom.
Im having issues with my GT780 (randomly turning itself off, resetting the light up keyboard lights to factory colours after turning itself off, track pad intermitently working) so as a last ditch effort was going to try flashing ec / bios.
The ec file downloaded from msi is older than the bios also downloaded from msi. I didnt for example want to flash the bios then "update" the firmware and it actually be downgrading it (If indeed firmware is included in bios files), I hope you can understand what I mean?
Any help really appreciated.
Mark
