I've tried a lot of different Realtek drivers to get this to work - here are the symptoms: (this is on a GT780DX but I have read that this issue exists with many MSI laptops that have the built in sound card and webcam integrated mic)

    - With no Realtek drivers and only native Windows 10 drivers the mic works flawlessly

    - With the MSI recommended version (from 2012 I believe) - the mic is extremely hard to get a response out of (you can see the level is barely responding)

    - Things slightly improve with a late 2017 driver, but it still isn't as good as without any driver

Some tricks are to enable the webcam in SCM (slight improvement) and to boost the gain all of the way in the control panel

If anyone is already familiar with this issue, please let me know if there is a fix!

    Thank you!
