I have been looking forward to this for a while now. MSI is finally getting around to releasing the GTX580M in their 780 laptops but they relabeled it as the 783R. So, as this is a new model number I figured I would start the new thread for it. I have pre-ordered mine (actually for my wife, she told me I had to get hers first before I could get a new toy) from PowerNotebooks.com – MSI GT783R-625 I should be getting specs up on this later, unless someone beats me to it. There are 2 models available apparently, the one that I'm getting I linked and the -658 spec model is the other. The 658 doesn't come with the SSD standard for the primary drive.
One thing I am wondering is what MSI will be using as the SSD, as it doesn't seem to list the specific drive as of yet.

It is most likely a Transcend drive as it is the only 128GB drive listed on their qualified component list.

So with the GT783 being the new model and the only difference over the GT780 from what I can see is the 580m? is there a different mobo bios and if so are there any other options available on the GT783 mobo bios over the GT780 version??
