Juzz received my PR200(finally) and installed Vista home premium, everything works except live update 3 and SCM , trying to install their latest versions but they fail to start on system startup.

i'm using 64 bit OS which can be the reason but it must be compatible as mentioned on the download page.

    any solution ?

    Shahzad RM,

I am aware that some "live update 3" and "SCM" versions are not compatible with Vista.

May I suggest that you confirm whether you have the correct versions.

If you have the correct versions but problem persists, bringing this to the attention of MSI is best.

X64 drivers are very limited and may not function correctly. did you try this scm?

Also DO NOT use live update on notebooks, it will not work correctly x32 or x64.

i don't know which are the working version's !!! i only tried the version found on msi's site, i guess its the latest one and still hasn't been updated.

already tried to bring their attention through online support page but they never replied.

yep , i tried the version found on ur link n its nt workin

i think x64 vista is the cause, anyone else tried on x64 vista ?

I'm having similar problems with SCM as well as the Bison Webcam drivers. They appear to install, but Vista x64 does not recognize them and I do not see the drivers in the device manager. On top of it, I still have warning flags on three "PCI Flash Memory" entries on the device manager. Other than that, it works perfect and I love the notebook. :)

I remember having some difficulties with downloaded drivers. I found that some work only from the cd-rom. E.g. the one for enabling/disabling wireless (BT and Wifi). Doyou have the cd that came with the notebook?

There is no x64 SCM available, all hotkeys and quick launch will function without but you will receive no on screen feedback. The PR200 does not use a bison webcam, it uses aveocap.

Anybody found a 64bit version of scm? It would be very handy, especially to switch on/off bluetooth and intel wireless separately (and see the correct colour led). Without SCM you can switch off BT via software only.

Do you have the correct bios for the O/S you are using? The BT-Wireless on/off should function without the SCM

Srry for the late reaction (forgot to subscribe...). Running 1.41 so the vista version. Running vista64 and pressing the button simultaneously enables/disables BT and wifi. The light on the front shines green/blue also. Luckily BT can be disabled using the software (as I don't use it very often). But the blue led stays on.
So I would welcome a correct version of SCM for vista64.
