Hi there so i have a GX60 and managed to get a cheap GT780.
ive been doing alot of reading up on upgrading the graphics card in the GT780 to the 7970m its my understanding it will be alright to just swap this and the heatsink from the GX60 to the GT780 and it will work fine, just wanted to double check i didnt need to mod anything as there both msi so should work?
The vBIOS on my 7970m is 015.024 but ive read i need the 015.017 for plug and play will i still need to do this even though the GPU is an MSI version?

The real question is will i be able to swap the GPU (a 570M) and heat sink from the GT780 to the GX60 and have this work without modding the bios or anything as i havent been able to find anything about it on here?

Any help wil be greatly appreciated
