    There are just couple questions i'm wondering up till now

    I currently own the 670m version of the 1762(the older version without those flashy lights) with the unlocked bios

    To my understanding there is the keyboard light control unit on the mobo so if I connect the steelseries keyboard will it function perfectly? And is the newer 1762 with the uefi bios? Also wondering where the screen hinge cover can be found because one broke and I quite like it to look undamaged....

    Sorry for asking so much but its just too hard to read through the whole bareboners lounge I hope some of you can solve these questions, thank you

    Yes a backlit keyboard should work, you can always try borrowing the EC from one that ships with it if you have no luck (just make sure you have a copy of your own).

    The UEFI is not really switchable to but you can get most of the functionality anyway.

    Try contacting your reseller for parts.
