I have a GT627 that I'm trying to flash to an earlier bios that has more options but I'm having a problem doing that. If I'm correct all you do is make your usb bootable and drag the bios files to the usb, restart and choose to boot from the usb, then enter the file path for the bat file? Can someone give me an example on how it should be performed? Thanks

Look for the "MSI HQ Tool" on google , you will need to register to download it. You can use it to flash bios and firmwares , easy and safe to use. Good luck.

Ps: on my phone so can't give you the link

Why do you want to flash the BIOS?

When I boot Windows 7 it takes about 20 minutes for the "Starting Windows" to load. I'm hoping an earlier bios with more options can help me pinpoint the problem, by disabling some things.
