Im about 2-3 months after installation of Win10 and I only play a couple of games 2 or 3 times a week on this laptop. I dont do anything else on this laptop other than gaming.

Now. a lot of things dont work anymore like the taskbar, losing sound in games, computer wont shut down correctly, getting errors about missing files...up to a point where I can't do anything with it anymore, this is so depressing. Everything worked perfectly using windows 8.

Is there any way I can roll back to windows 8? I dont seem to have any restore point or CD I can use for re-install... I dont care about losing my files, I only play a couple of big name games using steam so I guess I can always go back to my saved games.

Ive tried many many many temporary fixes showed on the internet but it never actually repaired anything.

    What are my options? :( Will I have to buy a win8 CD ?? Or maybe re-install win10 ?

I am sure you can download an official windows 8 ISO, and you can burn it yourself or maybe even install via USB. No point in using windows 10 if its causing you so much trouble specially since it won't stop you from gaming.

We both have the same notebook with the same specifications (probably). I'm in no rush to upgrade to Windows 10 and haven't got around to it. Msi doesn't directly show to support Windows 10 with this model so I am not going to upgrade it until I upgrade it (SSD upgrade) which I'm also in no rush to do. Your experience with the GT70 2QD was my fear. https://www.msi.com/Notebook/support/GT70-2QD-Dominator.html#down-bios shows no acknowledgement of Windows 10 support.

When and if I do upgrade to Windows 10 in the future, I would only wish to use Windows 10 Enterprise edition. If you cannot go back to Windows 8.1 from 10, I would just go the way of the pirate.

Windows 7 is the best solution, but you can download a windows 8 iso directly from microsoft and use your installation key under your battery.
