Well not yet but in a few days. What are some things I should do to get this laptop running at its best? Is a clean install necessary? Should I update all drivers?

I know it's been mentioned a few times in some places around the forum, but I can't seem to find them.

    Thanks.

lol, agreed. First things first. Open the box, unpack everything, open your laptop, read the manual, etc, try, test (benchmark), if not happy, clean install but before choose: 32-Bit vs 64-Bit.

wiping it out n installing only the necessities is probably the best.
