Hi guys. I just recently got a gt60, and was wondering if anybody knew of a way to install a slot-loading drive? I always liked that style of drive, even though I probably won't use it that much, but really want that feature! I've looked around, and could never find a bracket kit or anything. Does anyone have any suggestions, or have achieved something like this? Is there an aftermarket drive that would fit? The case is pretty much the same as the previous g-series, so maybe it has been done? Appreciate any input. Thanks.

I don't believe one would be available for the GT60.

If one was available, there would also be the issue of making it aesthetically pleasing, unless that does not concern you.

Well, yes of course. I would like to look like its made for the pc. There probably isn't any kit out there, and I suck at crafts. Lol. Thanks for your reply.

Stick a hard drive in there and get an external slot loading drive? :p

Good idea! I could then have my TB of space back! I was thinking about this before, and I might just do it. They make some holders for this slot I believe? Hey, who uses their drive that often anyway? Thanks meaker.
