Should i keep my new MSI GT72 ??

I have been using a GT70 with a 770m for last 3 years.... saw a deal and I just bought the GT72 6QD - Dominator G-1227US

and sent in the requested information to see what they say

Is the issue we cannot upgrade past the 980m? i have a 970m in this model....

 

If you purchase a "new" laptop with an unregistered MSI Warranty, you should be counted as the original owner, and be qualified for the trade-in deal. Used or 2nd hand owners don't qualify.

You should have 2 generations of GPU upgrades, Pascal now and "Volta" later.

 

yea i literally just opened the box last night and have not submitted the warranty information yet online

I sent in the PDF and lets see what they say.... wonder if this is an expensive trade up... :/

 

if you just bought it you are better off returning it and buying a newer model.

 

For exactly how much did you buy this GT72? Is it brand new?

Unless you got an amazing deal, you're better off returning it.
