    I can't say anything about that, I have no idea, it seems dangerous for me, and you should be careful my friend :). They are doing this to keep the 99.5% of users safe with the most stable settings that work for everyone.

    My opinion if you like to bench at 5 ghz you have to consider Clevo with Prema BIOS, I never saw anyone with 7820HK can go up to 5.0ghz, correct me if I'm wrong.

    @Dr. AMK I can do cinebench at 4.9 ghz a few runs then the EC shuts the laptop off!

    This is really impressive @4.90 on a BGA is not an easy job.
    My advice is not to play with MSI EC, enjoy your laptop as is, and plan to move for something more powerful as soon as you need that.

    @Dr. AMK

    I've just watched the video. No wonder their laptops work great and better than any other out of the box. As I told you before, out of the 10s of laptops I've owned before. I've never kept a laptop longer than this MSI GT73VR Titan Pro. [IMG]

    Brother @Phoenix I'm always trusting your choices, you never invest randomly in tech, you always selecting the best quality and performance devices, and we all try to keep up with you, if we can :).
    For me I'll keep enjoying the best from all brands, will not keep any laptop forever (Except those vintage in my museum), maximum 6 month if I like it, then sell it to my network, then enjoy another one without loosing too much money.

    Higher the clocks, the power consumption will increase with higher factor. Won’t be equal as you go from 4.8 up to 4.9GHz. @Phoenix :eek:

    9700K + 1180 are both confirmed to be in the next "F5"? I mean.. I should say.. both of those chips are confirmed as well to be existing? Where is that info? Am I taking this too seriously? :)

    Download Cinebench - MAXON | 3D FOR THE REAL WORLD if you not already have done it. 4.9GHz should be well within stock voltage.

    I hope it work better than this MESS. Exactly as I expected, bruh. A minor change on the Alienware TRIPOD heatsink design aka a small vapor chamber over Cpu die wont do much http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...r5-owners-lounge.815492/page-13#post-10716101

    But 1124cb from stock 6 core i9-8950HK in Msi Gt75 Titan ain't exactly very nice numbers either.

    Please, very curious to see how that plays out and the performance.
