Hi all. I have an MSI notebook, it's called a ZT s1003i-15.
The specs are: 120 GB Sata HDD, DVDRW/CDRW, 15.4 WXGA, 2 GB 667MHz Mem, Vista Premium.
I want to put windows xp media center on it because as we all know vista is a koooky OS. So I go into my bios>Set it to boot from my optical drive>Put in disc 1 of windows xp media center>Press a key to boot from it> It loads it's driver files>Then Says "Setup Cannot Detect any Hard Drive Press F3 to...blablabla.
I worked a'lot on it yesterday but all I found out was that it needs some sort of sata controller.
So right now. I need a sata controller for xp. And I need to integrate it onto an xp mce cd b/c I have no floppy drive.
So can somebody tell me where to get the sata controller and how to integrate it on the CD?
Thanks![]()
