It seems too. Problem was, I never really tested machine without holes, so I can't compare. I know, bad oversight on my part.

But it definitely seems very cool. Then again, the cooling is so good anyways I can't tell if that's natural or because of the mods.

Hi guys bought this before Christmas. Had a few problems (flickering screen) but all of them were sorted. Only thing I can't do is flick the screen down and let it go into sleep because when I start it up again it becomes glitchy. I don't mind that seeing as it takes no time to shutdown and reboot every time.

That is just an update after a few months of having it.

The problem I have is Shogun total war 2 the new one I bought off steam I play it and the screen goes black for a few seconds then the whole laptop FREEZES.

Now most of the time that is a hardware problem yes? It never happened with any other game.

I was just wondering am I not up to date with drivers and the like. I keep checking for updates on device manager and it says everything is up to date.

I have no clue how to update ''BIOS'' but could probably learn if it would help this out.

    Any suggestions would be great.

Has anyone had problems with the keys on the keyboard rattling when musics playing? Ive heard it mentioned in reviews, saw one post that seemed to indicate it was actually the flaps on the memory slow under the keyboard but trying to sort it out before buying one. Thanks.

I also had that problem on mi msi gx660 when try to play shogun 2 or empire. All that you need to do is go to the realtek official site and download the latest driver for realtek and it will work. the windws say that its updated but it isnt. You can try to find out if realtek driver is the issue by shutting it down in device mangar, and run shogun . if it'll run just put in the new one . So far everything's working fine with it for me.

There might be a minor rattling when you turn it up full (which is pretty load even for a pair of speakers). I have never had a problem with it anyway. I use my laptop for parties and the like for music because I have never had something so small produce so much sound.

Yes thats the right site, just click next and download the Vista, Windows7 Driver(64bits) Driver only (Executable file) , (I assume that you have a 64 bit os) and also the ati hdmi audio device. remmember to uninstal the old one reboot and clean the rest of the driver with driver sweeper.Than just instal the new one and reboot.

As far as I know the regular CPUs (non i7 extremes) can't be overclocked much, if at all. Most of the time the small overclocks end up with mixed performance so unless you have something like an 920xm, you are better off leaving the CPU alone.

For 920xm, use can use Throttlestop among other tools to increase the speed across all cores, achieving turbo boost speed in all 4 cores simultaneously.

Haha don't be so sad, it's a great CPU! and you are not alone, I can't overclock mine either.
