    Hi everyone.

I have an MS-1039 which I like, but it runs a little hot. I've got AS5 on all the heatsinks and as I was looking at it today, I saw the tin foil. Would it be a good idea to remove it? I've had this laptop for 6 months.

You should only use AS 5 on the CPU, Not the GPU or other components. And no, do not remove the foil...........

I figured out about the only use thermal pads on your gpu only AFTER I took it of :(. Is it possible that I buy some new ones to put on there? I know that you are supposed to have pads because the paste isn't thick enough (mine is running on a very thick layer of AS5 right now).

    I wont remove the foil.

    Thanks!
