    Rectangular mark in the middle of the screen

    Hello,

    I have a MSI S420 laptop and today I noticed a rectangular mark in the middle of the screen:

    It's not a pressure mark from the keyboard and I didn't put anything heavy on the back of the lid. I'm guessing it's not the video card either since this mark didn't appear when I plugged an external monitor. A friend said that it could be a loose flat cable or something.

    So, anyone knows what could be causing this?
