    With Recording Devices(Microphone) set to Default, do the Volume Bars move up and down as one speaks into the computer? The intent is to be able to record both audio sides of a Skype Conversation video made by SnagIt.

    I don't think so. It sounds like you're describing the microphone gain. You can try it to test, but I don't recall the audio/microphone be capable of functioning that way.

    There's only one recording resource available so if one's used then the other program may not use it.
    However, there could be a software solution available for this kind of application but we just need to know the name of it.
