Hi, I was wondering if the motherboard of the gt70 is capable of doing raid 0 with standard ssds and not the micro sata cause my gt70 does not have the super ssd chipset. Im Planning on using a samsung 830 and a 470 to raid. I would rather know so i don waste money on another ssd lol.

    Thanks

Any of the GT70 laptops should be capable of RAID 0 configurations. If you have one with the 2x standard 2.5-inch drive bays, you should still be able to do it. If you don't see RAID available in your BIOS, check MSI website and get the BIOS that does support RAID in your system.

The SuperRAID 0 is not a chipset thing, it is actually just a small circuit board addon that allows 2x mSATA drives to be plugged in and it uses one of the already existing drive bays where the 2.5-inch drive would normally go.

Would it be possible to use 2 superraid adapters (mSATA) & raid 4 mSATA SSDs together?
