Need more details on what is exactly wrong with it, and what you've done to try to fix it.

Okay so I didnt have much time because I had to head out for work, basically I figured out how to assign the P1 key but I have no idea how or what program I would use for the turboboost. Or wether that is something set up by the factory? Or would I have to bring this laptop in as well?

I think you just need the right software or drivers. Did you try your driver disc or the drivers/utilities from the msi website?

I did try there website and they don't have it there but I'll try the disc when I get home, by the time I got home from the store I had to jet to work :( if I do have to bring the laptop back again would it be uncalled form to ask for an upgrade? I live out of town and that would be two long trips!!

(Re-)install System Control Manager (SCM) - that should help you.

Did you do a fresh WIN 7 install? I assume you are talking about a GT780 model, correct? (one reason why a SIG is very helpful)

If so..... First you need to have the S-Bar software installed from HERE. Then you will need to install the MSI nVidia VGA OC Tool from HERE..... and reboot. Once you have done this, pressing the P1 button should activate the TDE engine, and you should see this on-screen.

    :)

you don't need s-bar for the P1 function! though you will for the rest of macro buttons :)
