I notice that there are 2 options for ram that I am interested in

    16GB DDR3 1600/PC3 12800 Dual-Channel (4G X 4)

    and

    16GB DDR3 1333 Dual-Channel (4G X 4)

They are both around $100 to add to the configuration, but I dont really know what the difference is, isnt the higher the number the better? Wouldnt the 1600 be a clear choice over the 1333? Please excuse my lack of RAM knowledge.

    Thanks for helping

Ram has a very small impact on performance, yes higher frequencies are better (assuming the latencies are not stupidly higher too, 1600 CL9 is sensible) then you may as well go for the 1600 for the same price or a very small difference.

Memory performance increases with higher frequencies and lower latencies.

Not really. Latencies spiking up and reducing returns on already slim gains kills it.

After all other notebook componants have been upgraded for maximum performance then and only then should an upgrade in memory frequency be considered.

It does have the Dynaudio, and some you get the reseller to put in the keyboard for you for about $90-120

I concur. I think the only caveat I would add is that if you are putting in your own ram / upgrading all ram I would consider looking at the upgraded ram if the cost difference was minimal. I was looking at Newegg and I think there was a Gskill at 1600 vs a Crucial at 1333 with the same latencies and the difference was $2-3.
