    So I've seen a few Youtube videos that demos how loud the Cooler Boost is... like a jet plane. My question is can you have extended gaming sessions without launching the jet plane?

    Yes. Last night I just played over 2 hours of BF3 without turning it on. Honestly I think its just for overclocking or if playing in a very hot room. If its pasted properly and you are playing in a cool room then there is no reason to engage it.

    The other nice thing is the GT60 has the speakers to be able to drown out fan noise too ;)
