Good to see your performance increased. What did you do on bios?

I haven't done anything much in bios .. I thought I did when I turned speed step off or vd-t or virtualization .. but no, issue was microsoft controller .
Now I have samsung controller so all is perfect
Now they are even better ..

Ah you just had the standard driver installed, with newer devices it usually is best to go for the third party one.

Microsoft generic driver is intended for basic function without any enhanced functions.

yes that is true.. temporary functioning driver..
I was wondering their drivers are still since 2006..microsoft is not bothered do revisions .. at least could update it from 2010..

Microsoft isn't the manufacturer for the controller so that's the reason why it doesn't update it.
Since yours is made by Intel thus why Intel AHCI driver is needed.
Another example on a desktop motherboard that uses AMD SB950 which requires AMD's own AHCI driver to function properly.

Yes the microsoft driver is there to get you off the ground, it is designed to work with every device possible so you can get going and then replace it as required.
