I installed the latest version of SCM, on PR200, with Win Vista Ultimate.

Usually, SCM shows 3 buttons. In my computer from time to time - usually after waking up from the sleep modes, it looks different, and when I click the hardware button, SCM shows different icons, and only enables to turn ALL ON, or ALL OFF.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks.
    Amir.

I had the same problem with the version that is bundled with the CD, things were just become worse with the newer version.

What is the Windows Vista hotstart utility?

when you insert the msi driver cd and the menu pops up you will see "install vista hotstart" this is necessary for the scm and hotkeys to function. the scm on the product cd works fine. did you update the bios? update the vga driver or anything else recently?

I will try to reinstall from the CD.

After having some problems, I reinstalled Windows Vista, and then I installed all recent drivers from MSI website.

Many times when I close the lid (in order the computer will go to sleep mode), I found that unexpected/unexplained crash occured. It's very annoying.

I saw there is a recent BIOS update, I'm afraid to try it, maybe new problems will occur.
