    Hi,

Hibernating/sleeping doesn't seem to work: when I use it, I cannot recover from sleeping mode (my screen stays black but my bluetooth, wifi, num pad, etc. blue lights open).

I think that my bios is already updated, but I'm not that sure, so... here is what CPU-Z says me:

    Version: E1656IMS.10C
    Date: 06/04/2010

I supposed that my bios was already updated after I tried to flash the bios but failed (I don't remember the message they said on DOS but it was something like "no bootable drive detected").

    I also got catalyst 1.7.

Otherwise, all I have installed are freewares (VLC, CPU-Z, GPU-Z, spybott, CCleaner, auslogics disk defrag) and Starcraft 2.

    Thanks!

You need to update the Vbios not the bios :) U can find it on MSI under firmware ;-)
It can be flashed in a similar way as the bios ;-) be careful to have battery +AC adapter plugged in in case Hydro Quebec has some issue ;-)
