    Hello

my MSI GS60 2PE is going blank randomly and everything works. Looks like there is a common problem with this model. I am looking to fix it by replacing LVDS cable, but I have no idea where to find it or what is the model number for it. I googled around without any promising results. Please help me since the laptop just blnaks out randonly

So the screen just randomly goes black? On all MSI's first make sure BIOS/EC is all up to date.

If you are inquiring about the part, I can help you source it, just PM me.

Possibly a beta but MSI doesn't release beta BIOS.
    Are you encountering any issues?

It's possibly the LCD screen itself, or the ribbon cable inside.
It's best to contact MSI to get RMA#.

Thanks for the reply. I live in Denmark and the warranty ran out since it is a 2 year old machine. So I dint think RMA would help, but is it possible to buy that ribbon online? can you tell me who sells the parts?

MSI will still offer OOW (Out of Warranty) RMA if they have the capability to repair the unit, it's just the parts they are concerned of because if there's no parts then no repair can be done.

I am not sure about your region, but in N. America, only MSI sells the parts directly to end users so if they don't have any parts then nobody does, unless someone part out from a full system.
