    Hello,
My girlfriend's MSI A6000 was having a multitude of issues that lead me to believe that somehow her file structure had been corrupted. I managed to format and re-install windows 7 on her machine and everything was going great. In the process of testing it for the issues it was having prior to the re-install I took out 1 of her ram sticks. Now that everything was working I figured I should put it back because it didn't appear to be the issue. Now it will no longer boot. It wont show post screen, no beeps. The only clue I have is that the "thinking" light flashes once upon start up before the sleep light goes on. The screen shows nothing and even upon removing the CD drive, HDD and RAM it still behaves the same way. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance. HALP!

I might be wrong (and if I am, someone please correct me ;-), but it appears to me, that some elements on the notebook's motherboard might have been damaged by ESD (electro-static discharge). If that is indeed the case, the best You can do is to change the motherboard.

have you any other memory you can try ?

I found in many cases like this the memory chips have crapped out

try swapping one chip at a time in each memory slot as well.
