Is there any difference between these two models? Because I can't find any...

    Edit: 8RF-441 vs 8RF-450US

They are identical, except 450US is probably Amazon-exclusive and 441 is available to all resellers.

Kevin, thanks for the reply. It's interesting that the 450 is generally $100* more expensive and doesn't appear to come with the extended warranty.

    (* Right now it's $100 cheaper as they're running a $200 discount)

Where did you see the term on extended warranty? Warranty should be the same throughout the region.

Maybe I read it wrong but I thought that the limited edition that came with the box/sleeve also included an extra year of warranty.

FYI. Product page says "1 year Limited warranty (Include 1 Year Global)".
    https://us.msi.com/Laptop/P65-Creator-8RX/Specification

    Warranty Page:
    https://us.msi.com/page/warranty

Global Warranty period : 1 year base-on purchase date.
1 year Limited warranty (Include 1 Year Global) on most models.
3 year Limited warranty (Include 1 Year Global) on select models.

You are right, I see the extension part of the warranty terms, however if it's true then all P65 SKU have it and nobody has different terms than others.
Let me double check on the extension part of it and I can get back to you.

Thanks Kevin, much appreciated! If the 450US also has the 2 year warranty I'll happily cancel the order for the 441 (& save $100) since it's just the warranty extension I wanted, I couldn't care less about the wooden box or leather sleeve.

Ok, confirmed. This product by default has 1-year warranty, so you must register your system immediately with MSI after receiving it within 30 days to get 2nd year for free.
Please note that registration will also enable your 1st year to have accidental warranty (ADC) which is a bonus from MSI.

    Cheers Kevin, much appreciatedI!

I'm still a little confused on exactly which SKUs this applies to. It's a shame MSI aren't more clear about this. It took me a while to try to figure it all out through reviews, bloggers and resellers' websites. My understanding is that the 450US doesn't have the additional year warranty (since it doesn't come with the wooden box etc..), but MSI isn't very forthcoming on it all. This is why I bought the 441 as I've confirmed via reviews it does have the additional warranty.

By the way, you can check the warranty duration in the user registration system, then verify before and after the registration.
If you aren't getting the correct warranty duration you can always contact MSI Customer Service directly to get it resolved.
