So apparently this new 560m is getting the following results without overclocking:
3DMark 06: 16591
3DMark 11: 1959
This is done with the 275.27 verde drivers, which really improves results over 26x.xx drivers. But i havent done any overclocking yet.
Base Clocks are:
Core Speed * 775 MHz
Shader Speed * 1550 MHz
Memory Speed * 1250 MHz
Has any one done overclocking?? If so please post ur stable results, as well as drivers used to achieve that score in order to compare. thanks

With Drivers 275.50 Beta it seems that u get a 10% increase in 3DMarks 11. anyone else have tried these drivers and is willing to post any results???

3DMARK 11 -
Now I only need my 920xm. -
Ye, i am getting 2601 with 5870 Ocd to 880/1030 (i can oc more),it is i belive >1 year older system, so whats the point with this (!!!) ?
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-950 Processor,MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD MS-1727 score: P2601 3DMarks -
Thats an impressive OC with the 275.5 drivers. 2625 is indeed impressive. The GTX 485 scored 2668 with the early 26x.xx drivers. still its uber impressive. How are the temps holding up with that oc??? is it sable, artifact free??
-
GTX460m/560m are very good overclockers. Temps should be fine even in high clocks. -
70's, and yes its stable. -
this information is useful for people who want to buy the new 560m to form a general idea of how future proof it is, or isnt. the 560m is relatively a new card and this results provide usefull information for us.
Thanks to all -
Does the VBIOS allow a voltage increase or is it locked as on the 460m?
-
-
Dump the VBIOS, best would be from within DOS with NVflash to make sure it doesn't get corrupted, and then check whether Nibitor already supports the VBIOS (probably not).
You could also try Nvidia Inspector, but I'm not sure whether it allows to change the voltage for mobile cards... I'm not that experienced with Nvidia cards. -
Point said, please do not bash our mid-to-high end cards, though i apreciate the benchmark since now i can compare. -
i just wanted to point one thing, new system vs mine (1 yr older)have same fps performance, looks like christmas tree....... and it's 30% more expensive.

Can it supersede gtx 570m by overclocking?
-
-
There's 570M benchmarks out there? Link?
-
Not yet, but the stock 470m gives about P9000 GPU score in vantage, now assuming a 15% performance increase with the 570m you should get about 10k-10.5k vantage GPU score, at stock. That's just below the stock performance of a 6970m.
The 470m is a very great overclocker and the VBIOS allows a slight voltage increase, assuming it will be the same for the 570m it should be able to perform almost like a 6970m.
Back to the topic... @Flapo, or anyone with a 560m... can you upload a copy of the VBIOS please? I want to take a look at it. -
this is the .bin file from gpu-z, is that what your looking for?
GF116.bin -
This works, best method to dump the vbios is always booting DOS and using nvflash to prevent the dump from becoming corrupted, but this works for now, thank you! +rep!
-
no problem... please let us no what you find. Thanks!!
Overcloking the 560m!!!!
