Hi, I am abit of a laptop newbie. I have installed a modified desktop driver using mobility modder (cat 9.9), which seems to work 99% (when i exit games it doesnt bring me back to proper resolution). I want to overclock the video card. All I can find to do this is RBE. Flashing the bios makes me very nervous.

Can someone tell me what could go wrong, how to make sure it doesnt go wrong, and finally will it even work?

My first advice to you would be: do not even think about flashing through Windows, create bootable usb drive and do the flashing that way

Other than that you can try overclocking with this program first: http://go.notebookreview.com/?id=525X832&url=http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1383/mirrors.php

After testing a lot and if you are confident enough you can then apply those clocks to the 3d mode in RBE. And flash using atiflash.

huge thanks... I wil not flash. All my desktop clock modifiers did not work on my lappy, so i thought i was going to have to flash the bios. This appears to work slick.
