I'm not interested in a powerful GPU like the GX series, so the GE620DX looks like the perfect laptop for me.
The other candidate are the XPS 15 (but with a poor GPU), the Asus N55 (with a glossy external surface) and the Asus N53 (with a GT550M)

Any opinions on the GE620DX? Here in Italy it's hard to find a shop to see it personally..

    Thanks!

Im interested too in this model but it has only one HD space, so if want to upgrade with an SSD u will have very poor hard disk space...

I ordered this today. After much research and trying to stay at $1000 or less, this package is the best money/performance I could find. The GT555M scores very well, an HD resolution, top end Intel CPU, 7200rpm HDD in a nice looking case. Almost dropped $3000 for a M17X but just couldn't justify the price.

The GE620DX is the first MSI notebook in my region to be available with the i7 2670QM as the stock CPU.

    Also says:
    GT555M 2GB GDDR3
    750GB 7200 HDD
    FHD 1920 x 1080
    DVD Multi
    4GB 4gb x 1 DDR3-1333
    Intel WiFi Link 130N
    6 cell battery
    No OS
    1 year warranty

Almost all MSIs sold here have no OS installed.

Why would you want to upgrade to a CPU like that?

Can one of you please open the back of the laptop and take a picture? I believe you can upgrade the graphics in this model.
