    Hi,

my problem is, that after i change the boot order in the bios, it is not safed in the next start up and i have to do it again.
I change the order from the bigfoot boot agent to my harddrive, so that windows start. Without doing it i always get an error message.
    Hope someone can help me.

Try setting your hdd to primary and setting all others to disable. If you are uefi make sure you select wind9ws boot manager as your boot option in the bios.

    Hi,

the bigfoot boot agent is now disabled all the time. But my Blurayplayer is enabled in the next startup and before my harddrive. I have to change the order or disable it for windows to start. I dont use uefi.

    Set your order to:

    HDD
    Disabled

    Push. Any idea?

I tried to disable the device in Device Manager, but still not working.

And you're selecting "Save and Exit" after you make changes, right?

You could try removing the optical drive temporarily, then make sure your HDD is set as the boot priority. You should make sure removing the optical drive does not cause any issues with MSI warranty before/if you try it, though.

Disabling the drive in Windows Device Manager has no bearing on BIOS config. :)

Does it always ignore your saved settings? Could the battery be dead and defaulting to stock?

I always select save and exit. The Bigfoot Boot Agent is still disabled, but the optical drive is enabled after each startup and the Laptop wont start, as long the hdd isnt the primary device.

Im going to remove the optical drive later and see if this helps.
