Hi, i have a GE60-2PC 480XES (850m) and an Oculus Rift DK2, before the SDK 0.7 it worked perfectly, now because of the DAMN OPTIMUS and DAMN OCULUS SUPPORT it does not work, it says the HMD it's not conected, because the new driver of Oculus, makes that if you have an Optimus laptop, it does not work...

Is there any way to make it work? using the hidden bios or something? Because hell, i feel scammed thanks to that ****ty new driver, makes me feel that i've throw my money to the river

I dont know if this happens on new MSI laptops, but it would be good if together we can find a solution or some kind of fix, i've buyed the laptop just to take my Oculus with me and show it to my friends, now i can't thanks to that ****ty new driver (SDK 0.7/0.8..)

Have you tried adding the game's executable to the white list under Nvidia Control Panel?

That wont work, the problem is that if the Oculus Service does not recognize the Oculus Rift, it wont work

Have you checked on the game forum? Because there are hundreds thousands of Optimus-powered systems out there, so there should be a lot of issues out there if it's true.
