    OBHD in GX740 - stuck

    Hello,
    I tried to fit a obhd instead of DVD. I've pull the dvd out, and when putting OBHD inside i heard little "click".
    Now i can't remove it at all becouse it kinda STUCK there without HDD inside :/ , I tried to apply some pressure on it but i afraid to damage anything. It only moves within 1-2cm margin now, :???

    WHAT CAN I DO NOW. PLEASE HELP ME GUYZ !!!

    Haha a lot of us have had this issue. Don't worry, I was stressed out about it too. Here's how to get it out.

    Cut out a thin piece of cardboard (like the one they use in cereal boxes) about the size of the OBHD bay.

    Now you have to insert this cardboard onto the TOP of the OBHD bay (the one directly under the keyboard). Don't put it into the bottom.

    The reason for this is because there's several pins pushing it in place. if you push the cardboard into it, it'll lift up the pins and then you can get it out that way.

    Just make sure you push the cardboard all the way in, by then the pins should be released and you can take out the OBHD that way. You might have to use some force to get the pins lifted up, so just wiggle it in there.

    I attached an illustration. It's crude but shows what you need to do.

    Another thing you'll notice if you're using OBHD is that it'll try to boot off of the OBHD all the time. So I would put your primary boot drive in the OBHD and move the replacement hard drive into the normal slot.

    even if i will adjust that in bios ? that's wierd :/

    if you have a second HDD in the OBHD the first one disappears in BIOS.
