    Hello all,

I have a MSI GT70 Dominator Pro 2PE...It has an 880m graphics card with 8gb video ram. I currently have the latest nvidia drivers from their website loaded on, and haven't had any problems with games. High frame rates, and beautiful game play. I notice that the NVIDIA drivers on MSI's page are an older version, and am wondering if I should be using that. Would that increase my performance? As I currently have no problem with my current nvidia drivers, should I just stick with the ones off of NVIDIA's website?

Does the official drivers recognize that this has 8gb VRAM, or is that only the case for the MSI ones?

IF anyone has the same computer I'd love to hear your opinion on this question.

    Thanks so much!

Use the latest driver for best gaming experience.
Before, it can cause minor issue with GPU overclocking due to manufacturer customized features, but it is rare now.

The latest always (have a 680M), beta and WHQL, sometimes even Quadro with modified inf. I find problematic drivers very, very seldom.

NVidia drivers are indeed seldom shoddy. The driver from MSI's site is almost always dated. It's what they've tested against and provided to be known and stable from their end, but updating through NVidia has proven to be safe and a more viable option.
