    MSI launches dual-core Napa notebook

    Micro-Star International (MSI) today launched the S262, its first notebook based on Intel’s new Centrino Duo mobile technology, featuring a carbon-fiber cover and a 12.1-inch widescreen LCD display.

    With Intel’s Napa platform, the MSI S262 supports 65nm dual-core Yonah processors, the 945GM chipset series and the Intel PRO/ Wireless 3945 a/b/g network solution. The Napa-based model also provides tri-band 802.11a/b/g wireless connectivity, enabling users to use the Internet wherever they are.

    In addition, the S262 series delivers Dolby surround sound capability and has a DVD burner, offering up to 8.5GB in storage capacity.

    hi,
    just bought one of these over an ASUS W5 easily decied
    the asus notebooks is much better in looks and design but twice the price.. so if some one is looking for a very cheap notebook lightweight and below average with highspec this is the one i recommend.. good xmas present

    I read in cnet they said it weights at 4.9 lbs..but news said 1.95 kg..dunno which is right, but this is one hell heavy 12.1

    what is the built quality of the notebook other than carbon fiber on lcd lid, if anyone know?
