    Does anyone have any idea if or when new or updated models with the Nvidia 800m series are coming out? I really need a new comp pretty soon, this 4 and a half year old HP isn't going to last much longer :-/

    Man, that's unfortunate. I was hoping they'd arrive within a month. I thought the cards were supposed to be released this month or early next month...

    Notebooks will tend to be behind card launches as they have to go through validation.

    Though only MSI can speak for when they'll release new models with the 8xxM cards, early to mid March seems projected for implementing the new GPUs in some other systems, so they will likely release systems with said cards soon!

    The 880m was announced and you can preorder an Alienware with it now!

    But... they are rebrands. The 880m is only about 5% faster then the 780m.

    They must be coming soon as local stores are almost out of MSI laptops (Canada). I'd love to know what's coming out in Canada and when as I"m looking for a gaming laptop.

    I'll actually be heading over to Canada Computers to pick up my GT60 today (i7-4800MQ, 12GB, 1TB HDD and the 870m). Thats the only one available at the moment, the others are on special order at the moment.
