I'm looking for a 14-15" laptop with integrated graphics and at least 900p resolution. I'm not into gaming so don't need high-end components. Core i3 would be ideal, and I'm looking to spend under $1000. I like some of MSI's designs, but most of their notebooks seem to be limited to 720p resolution and come with discreet graphics that I don't need. Are there any MSI models out there that have what I'm looking for?

MSI's graphics aren't particularly discreet, in my opinion ^_~

I have not seen an MSI laptop that meet your specs. In fact I think you'll have a hard time finding any 15" model with at least 900p resolution and integrated graphics. Not even Dell has a model like this.

EDIT: My bad, the Dell Studio 15 does have integrated graphics and a 1080p display option.

the only thing I can think of that fits this which obviously isn't from MSI is the Lenovo T510

Thanks for the replies. I was already looking at the Dell Studio 15 but hadn't come across the Lenovo. I may end up going with one of those but would have preferred an MSI just for being cooler :D

I wish they made more notebooks with high res screens and integrated graphics for people like me who aren't into gaming but want screens that can display lots of lines of text. Ah well, guess I'll have to go join the Dell bandwaggon :(

Just cause a computer has a good video card doesnt mean its "just" for gaming. Frankly if you want the screens that the higher res's its smarter for companies to pair them with computers that can make the best use of them.

If your looking for long battery life your going to have to sacrifice something. Such as smaller res's.

And really at the price point the 640 is compared to what you get for those dells and Lenevo's the MSI is the clear winner. Hell even the 600 kicks their asses.

Yeah I agree, the GE600 is really nice. That was my 2nd choice.
