So basically I installed new 280.26 forceware drivers from nvidia and turbo button no longer works. I suppose msi software can't oc 560m on new drivers.
Is there any way to get turbo functionality back?
Also is anyone getting weird vertical black lines in metro 2033 with dx 11? Cuz its the main reason I decided to upgrade video drivers.

I had the same vertical lines, apparently metro doesn't accept 1336x768 resolutio, so i set it one notch lower, i believe it's (strangely) 1330 x 768.

    Hope this works. :D

have u tried overclocking directly from msi afterburner without using the turbo button??? try it and open CPU-Z, then bench something to see if effectively the overclocking was applied.

Thing is that in order for msi afterburner to correctly apply clocks turbo has to be on, BUT (and this is a theory) i believe that if the new driver ,since it has a general config and not a manufacturer specific, will overclock without the turbo button on.

    try it and report back

280.26 drivers, confirmed to work with turbo mode. therefore u may have a software issue in ur hands. u may try to unistall the utility, then reinstall by downloading the latest version from the msi website. also perform updates on all msi software that may be relevant to performance.

necesarry no. but its always good to have latest drivers since they improve optimization in the latest games.

stock drivers will work fine. new drivers may sometimes be glitchy, sometimes be perfect. depends on the game, laptop, many other factors.

buttom line: new drivers gave me 4-6 extra frames on current gaming setting in crysis 2. 560m stock clocks 720p high settings. temps remained almost the same. no overclocking done on this laptop since its not for gaming only.

EDIT: ohhh sorry luis, didnt read that u had the 570m. once i get mine i will test old vs new drivers in: stock performance, overclocked performance, temps in load/idle, stability
